Psychic Jane Doherty: Return to Babylon Anomalies in Silent Movie

I had an interesting email from the producer of a silent movie called, "Return to Babylon." It wasn't a media request, but a plea for help to understand the anomalies
in his movie. Bewildered, he asked me to take a look at clips from his movie.
There were anomalies in those clips that peaked my interest and FULLY got my attention.

So, we agreed to talk. He was upset and did not know what to conclude about his unfinished movie. The repeated anomalies in his movie confounded the editors of his movie. And the anomalies managed to stop production and put the movie "on-hold".

Now, of course, I could understand why he was upset. I have been on this same road but with a different twist. How do you get others to believe you are having a problem with "ghosts!". For years, I have had to fight the ridicule of the non-believers and the scorn of the die-hard skeptics, until I refused to allow "others" to infringe on my personal perceptions. All of us have unique perceptions based on our own personal experiences.

As I listened to Monty's anguish, I comforted him with my belief that it was certainly possible those anomalies were images of "ghosts". He, of course, asked, by why me?.. Why did this happen? I asked him a few questions. And from what I could tell these anomalies caused all kinds of production problems, and unflattering comments of disbelief from colleagues.

Of course, I related to his problem and told him that reaction was to be expected.

I was intrigued by the fact that this movie is a "silent movie" based on the silent movie era!.. That fact stood out in my mind's eye, every time I quieted myself and got into my psychic mode to ask for guidance.

Finally, I told Monty. Let me meditate on this and let me see what I receive psychically before I go into some possible explanations. So, we agreed to talk again in a few days, so I could look at the clips again, study them and meditate on them.
Also, there were questions I wanted to formulate and ask him, too, before I psychically keyed into the movie. We agreed and set a time in a few days to talk again.

Indiana Jones and Temple of the Crystal Skull

Hi everyone,

I went to the cinema last night to see the Harrison Ford Movie. I was curious to see What the movie would say about the Crystal Skulls and their meaning in today's world.
Some of you are aware that I own crystal skulls that are purported to be ancient.

I use these skulls in my readings. They are always present with me at a seance. Sometimes, I display them and sometimes I just keep them in a small case I put under my chair during a seance.

There have been rumors about the purpose of the crystal skulls for years. Supposedly, there are 13 large skulls that will be found and brought together. These skulls will have power when activated that could change the world. At the very least there is information encoded in the skulls that will eventually be revealed when the skulls all come together.

During the last 12 years, more skulls have been discovered that are of varying sizes.
In fact, I have been contacted by caretakers who bought or found skulls in other countries for my opinion of the skull in his or her possession.

I find these artifacts quite fascinating and do believe there is a purpose for the recent interest in crystal skulls.

Now... the movie... Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Crystal Skull is released and becomes a blockbuster "hit" over memorial day weekend.

Could the movie cause an increase in interest in the crystal skulls? I would imagine that now is the time... for us to perhaps understand or at least postulate on their purpose if any.... Lucas, Speilberg and Ford have set the stage for our increased curiosity.

Did I think the movie revealed a message?
Yes... subtle.. I think it planted a seed for a greater interest in them.

Was the portrayal of the purpose of the skulls accurate according to my knowledge?

Yes...

Could the skulls really have power?
Yes.. there is energy in crystal and I believe the shape has purpose, too!

2008's Unpredictability

2008 has started off with an indescribable energy field that I can't quite psychically perceive.
For me the new year usually starts off with a great deal of excitement, expectation and feelings of renewed hope, but I am a little perplexed by the start of 2008.

It seems that on the second day of January the usual exciting energy of the new year seemed to dissolve into a neutral energy for me. So much so that I am reluctant to perceive the year at the moment and post my predictions. I am sure these ambivalent feelings will end but for now I have to address my anxiety. To me anxiety can indicate global situations that are potential problems for the world.

Yesterday, Jan. 7th, I woke up feeling overwhelming anxious. Anxiety is not a usual emotion for me. In fact, when I can't control the anxiety or release it, in the past it has indicated a world crisis or accident that affects a lot of people. This happened before the start of the first middle east war, just before the attack on the world trade center, just before the tsunami a few years back, just before the foiled assassination plan years ago on Clinton just to name a few of the previous times I have felt overwhelming anxiety. Now, I don't want to say that there is going to be a war or terrorist attack, but I think something is brewing that is major.

When I couldn't shake this anxiety, I turned on the news to see if I could identify why I was filled with so much emotion. Then I heard about the navy incident involving Iranian speed boats and President Bush going to the middle east, as well as the analysis of the primary election predictions. My anxiety didn't abate. It grew stronger and I have not relaxed yet.

The Iranian incident makes me feel that Iran is trying to provoke us into war. An explosion in the middle east is exactly what some countries there are covertly trying to create. Islamic extremists have infiltrated deeply within Iran, Syria and other middle east countries. That incident has me very uneasy. I believe there will be more that we will encounter.

Bush's visit to Israel has me uneasy. I do not think I will be able to relax until he is back on our soil. Something there will be averted, but there is some sort of violent attempt on Bush's life- which may be covered-up.

With our presidential election taking place in 2008 the extremists passionately want to disrupt our democractic process and cause confusion and "change" within the US in order to make us more vulnerable. Let's face it. The current administration may not be "loved" but that same administration has avoided terrorists attacks on our soil even if we are naive enough in thinking there have been no other attempts since 9-11! There have been close situations in which the public has not been made aware. Missile systems on airplanes?....Why-unless there is information we are not privy too that may warrant that action in order to prevent an attack!
Increased security in NYC more than a year ago because of info of a threat to blow-up tunnels and bridges?

I do not yet feel safe, and secure enough to no longer remember 9-11.
Once this current anxiety leaves me, then I can safely perceive what 2008 will bring for us. Until then, I do not expect to post any predictions until February. Instead, I will say prayers for Bush's safe return, peace in the middle east, and the end of the reign of Islamic extremists.

Spears loss of children by Judge's ruling predicted by Psychic Jane Doherty Dec. 2006

My 2007 Star predictions published in the Detroit Free Press in December 2006 included a prediction about Britney Spears. It was also heard on Comcast Cable's Barry Nolan Show, Chicago's ABC news and Palm Springs NBC news. In the media it was an abbreviated prediction,"Britney Spears will lose custody of her children in 2007."

Today, October 3, 2007, Britney will give-up her custody rights to Federline, her former husband.

Making predictions about celebrities is not my favorite thing to do, but it has become a popular type of prediction. Why? The public has a fascination for celebrity news, so the media will often ask psychics for celebrity predictions.

Star predictions,however, and global predictions are the hardest to predict, simply because a psychic doesn't have an emotional connection to celebrities or global situations to make it easy to see the "future". Reading someone in front of you or on the phone is easier because there is a vibration to "see" ,"feel" or "hear" that can be tapped to see into the future of that person. Global situations do not give-off those same type of vibrations and stars, well, you have to be a celerity gazer to pick-up their future without being in their presence.

Am I a Britney Spears fan? No! So how did I "foresee" this celebrity news? It took intense concentration and focus on her image while my eyes were closed. Then an image of her crying in a courtroom flashed in the dark space behind my eyes. As I focused on why, I heard the words "children". Then I verbally interpreted the words as her loss of the children in a custody battle.

A few weeks after I made this prediction a divorce settlement was announced between Britney and Kevin, which included joint custody of the children. I dismissed the announcement as a temporary situation and still felt that the "future" I saw for Britney would happen before the end of 2007.

So, October 1st's surprise ruling fulfilled the 2007 prophecy I predicted about Britney in December 2006.

There are other accurate predictions I will post on my blog just so you can see what does materialize.

Boredom shuts-down psychic ability!

The question posed most often to a psychic is, "how did you become psychic?" It is not the question that intrigues me, but rather the way it is expressed to me. With a great deal of curiosity a person will pose that question to me as if there is some secret that shrouds the ability and keeps it a mystery. That secret unfolded for me when I tenaciously sought to understand the ability twenty-five years ago. I exposed the process and discovered that each one of us has the gift.
You just need to know that it is a process that takes some time.

You must change the way you are right now in order to start the process. One of the ways to help you change is to explore new things. When you expose yourself to new experiences, you stimulate the part of the brain that is responsible for receiving psychic impressions.

The #1 killer of psychic ability is boredom. Boredom generates a sort of neutral energy. When you are in a neutral state, the senses can not be stimulated to receive psychic impressions.
Therefore, you will remain at a zero point and stuck in a neutral non-psychic state. Even as a professional psychic, I must keep the ability fresh by stimulating my mind and my senses with new experiences.

Today, I ventured into a new experience somewhat reluctantly. I had no idea what to expect but I knew it was an opportunity that would be different than what I have previously experienced. The worse it could turn out for me would be my just having a new experience. At best it would stimulate my senses and keep me from being bored. What could that experience be?...
I attended a musical concert that was different than anything I could imagine me ever attending.
I enjoy music but I am more of a pop, rock, or 60's music fan. Today, I attended a concert centered in the music of the 1700's with history woven into the presentation. The muscians included an organist, harpischordist and an english flute player.
What a treat! I spent my time enjoying the music popular from centuries ago. I tapped my foot just as I would in a modern day concert, but the sweet sounding music allowed me to relax and get into my imagination. Before I knew it I had flashes of memories of my own high school days playing the flute in the high school orchestra. Slowly, I was transported back in time and into my memories. Another flash of a memory put me at the exact scene of when I decided I wanted to learn to play the flute. That scene occurred when I was 7 years old. There I was re-experiencing that moment in my imagination. Feelings, thoughts, images flooded across my mind's eye as I experienced it through my senses. That scene triggered a possible past life memory and my thoughts were off again. By the time the concert was over I felt rejuvenated. What seemed like something so unusual actually turned out to be more familiar than I thought.
Could I have triggered the memory of a past life? Only time will tell me that answer. If I did, then the memory of the concert will probably stir in me for days or maybe a few weeks. Dreams about the past or the music can happen. Coincidences or other signs may surface as I go about my daily routines. If any of these happen, then I will know for sure.

Lesson One: Plan to do something unusual to stimulate your psychic centers. Tell me what you have experienced. And we can vicariously learn from it too! It is a way to keep engaged with others and our psychic mind "open" to recieve.

Halloween 2006

Halloween 2006 has been a wild ride of activity for me. The 2006 Ghost tours at the Proprietary House in Perth Amboy are finished for the year. I have done ghost tours at haunted museums since the late 1980's as a way to educate the public on ghost phenomenon and as a fund raiser for the museums. Some of those museums have included the Spy House in Port Monmouth, WaterLoo Village in Stanhope, the Metlar House in Piscataway and the current one at the Proprietary House. So, it is always an anticipated activity for me every year. In fact, the Halloween season wouldn't be the same for me without a ghost tour to conduct. This Halloween, however, had some activity that surprised me.

On the second weekend of tours during the 8PM tour I thought a gentleman on the tour was playing a trick on me. I kept feeling as though someone had their hands on my posterior, but I tried to ignore it thinking it was a tour-goer trying to tease me. When the gentleman didn't take his hands away, I had to try a different tactic. All set to tell him to stop I turned around to assertively tell him to stop. However, no one was behind me. I joked with the crowd and continued the tour without any more problems.

On the 9 PM tour, however, I had another encounter only this time the male ghost had more strength to interact with me. Probably, he was able to manifest because of the energy available to him from all the tour goers. When I reached that same spot as the previous tour, I could not stop coughing. An unseen force had me gripped around my neck and it felt like he was choking me. It was difficult to talk and it had become increasingly uncomfortable until the ghost stopped his antics.
This is the first time any ghost at the Proprietary House had ever tried to harm me.
Why did he try to choke me? I don't yet have the answer, but I intend to investigate it further. There must be something that is happening that he is no longer happy about.

Within the next few months I intend to sleep over at the Proprietary House to entice him to do it again.. only I will have a tape recorder and a team of people to stay the night with me.

Dead Tenants - Episode 3 - "The Unknown Soldier"

We had a lot of fun taping this episode. There were 2 goats that we played with that were so lovable. Whenever we were outside waiting for our turn inside the house, we passed the time by playing with the goats and giggling every second we were with them. I also had fun chasing a family of ducks in the yard. I couldn’t catch-up with them but it was sure fun chasing behind them, but I never got to pet them because they would outsmart me by changing their running pattern. I learned a lot about ducks that weekend. And, of course, there was Maya, the McDonough’s dog, who enjoyed hours of pure contentment being petted by all of us. If I didn’t know Maya was a dog, I would have sworn he was a cat every time I heard him purr as he licked us.

The SKEPTIC

Joanne’s nephew was the skeptic. And I believe that he was the toughest of the skeptics thus far. To be honest with you I did not think I was going to be able to change his opinion even a small degree. He had a strong demeanor that registered to me as one that I would not be able to convince. In fact, I prepared myself mentally for that fact and also tried to tell myself that it was okay if he didn’t budge from his stance about ghosts. His reaction surprised me in the séance. When he started to feel something in the séance, I knew I had help from the other side and mentally thanked God for it. The skeptic’s reaction in this séance surprised me! He had more than the spirits of the soldiers come through him. Unfortunately, all of his reactions did not survive the edit.

Not only did he experience the civil war soldier, but he experienced, Mr. Everett, one of the former owners of the house. Joanne’s nephew had an urge to stand up and make a certain movement. When he stood-up, he motioned as though he was moving something up and down a wall. When the séance was over, we learned that Mr. Everett had a heart attack painting the wall opposite to where(Brian?)sat in the séance circle. The motion that Brain mimicked was a painter moving a paint roller up and down a wall.

MARK

In some ways Mark stole the show because of his strong reactions to his experience. After the séance you couldn’t help but just love Mark. Imagine a VIETNAM VET having to be calmed because of a spirit encounter. And of course, I just loved him being moved to go to church and confession. What a transformation… and he was so sincere. The executive producer called me into the room where the interview was taking place to help calm Mark. Mark kept talking about how “hot” he felt and “how drenched his underwear now was from all the sweating. In his innocent way, he invited the producer and myself to feel how “wet” his underwear had become because of all his sweating. That “ boyish innocence” at that moment just tickled me, as well as his “awe” for the experience.

He marveled over his new “psychic experience” for a long time after we left the area. I presented him with my book, Awakening the Mystic Gift, for him to further his understanding of psychic ability. Joanne told me in a recent conversation that he plans on calling me and was surprised to learn he had not yet called.

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE GIRL IN THE BATHROOM, THE GANGSTER AND THE WAGON CARRYING A COFFIN?

The Girl in the bathroom

The girl in the bathroom was probably Jenny, someone who once lived there. The narrator mentioned that it probably was the girl who tended to the civil war soldier. However, that family lived in the house after the civil war. The historians found the name Jenny on the deed, as a daughter to someone who lived there. More than likely, it was the girl who the owners saw walk up the stairs. (That mistake was the writer or narrator of the episode). We did not identify the name of the girl who stood over the civil war soldier. It is possible that in spirit Jenny interacts with the civil war soldier even though she didn’t live in that period of time. If a spirit has a consciousness, then that spirit could interact with the other spirits that exist in the same dwelling. So we never identified that spirit.

The wagon

The image of the wagon carrying a coffin in front of the house was not fully addressed in the episode. Mr. Everett loved his horse and wagon. Even though he had a car, he still preferred to drive his horse and wagon. According to the historical data, Mr. Everett’s coffin was paraded in front of the house on a wagon pulled by his horse during his funeral. That is what I saw as a psychic impression that was later confirmed by the historical research. Unfortunately, that part was edited out.

Mr. & Mrs. Everett

Mrs. Everett had Alzheimer’s disease and died a year after Mr., Everett. They had an incredible love for each other. I believe that Mr. Everett stayed close to the earth when he died to still be near his wife. Once he got to the other side, he learned that his wife would soon follow him. Because of his great love for her, he wanted to be there to greet her and to help her to the other side. He probably kept projecting the image of the horse and wagon as a way to keep his wife aware of him. This was stated, but most of the explanation was edited out.

A person suffering from Alzheimer’s is in a state of confusion in the last days of his or her physical existence. A confused state of mind here can make it more difficult for that soul to realize he or she is dead or how to follow the light when they first get to the other side. Most of the time deceased loved ones urge the soul to come to them through the light. When someone in a mental state of confusion dies in that state of mind, a loved one will actually meet them immediately upon death to bring them right through the light, rather than chance a long period of time of them trying to understand where they are and how they can get to God.

THE GANGSTER

My first impression of the area was that of gangsters hiding out in the area during the 1920’s and 30’s.The house was in such an isolated area that I felt it could have been a haven for gangsters at one time.

After all the psychics had already walked through the house, I had a conversation with Joanne and a neighbor friend while sitting on the porch eating Saturday night’s dinner. I told her about my impression. A few minutes later, she remembered some history about the area and excitedly remarked that the area in the 1920’s supposedly was a summer retreat for the gangsters who frequented New York City. Some of the research later done confirmed what she knew. There also was a man who stayed at the boarding house who was very reclusive, but had meetings there with other men who were dressed in suits. This man was later found dead and there was a lot of speculation that his death involved gangsters. Apparently, the area in the 1920’s and 30’s had a history of being a haven for gangsters and so-called “mob figures” during that era.

MY PERSONAL REACTION

For me the image of the civil war soldier dying at my feet triggered off a past life memory. That image and memory took me by complete surprise and shocked me. I could not believe I had such an intense feeling. After all, who wants to cry on national television and have make-up stream down your face and leave black marks under your eyes and down your cheeks?

When the historical data confirmed there had been a civil war soldier found on the property near the swamp, I was overwhelmed with emotion. Our team leader had originally dismissed my impression as wrong, because it didn’t seem possible that a civil war soldier would be that far north. Learning I was correct overwhelmed me and then reinforced my past life memory. For me it was such an intense reaction that I was not prepared for. I felt the sadness so deeply because of my own past life of having my husband or lover die in the civil war. Joanne later told us that every year there is a civil war reenactment in her town to honor the soldiers from there who died in the civil war.

Several years before I explored the paranormal, I visited Charleston, South Carolina with my husband and children. I had such a strong feeling of wanting to move there, but had no idea why. It wasn’t until several years later that I learned about the theory of past lives. My reaction to the civil war soldier brought me back to the memory of my visit to Charleston thirty years ago.

Dead Tenants - Episode 2 "The Spirit in the Basement"

This episode was actually the first one taped, so it was our first experience taping a TV show. During the taping of this episode, we discovered taping “DEAD TENANTS” meant no sleep for the cast, crew, producers and family. Therefore, our excitement somewhat faded when we realized taping “DEAD TENANTS” was hard work.

The Lindenmeiers were real troopers. We started the taping of this show with sad news that affected all of us. Once we began the dinner scene, we learned that their dog had died from cancer the night before our arrival. You could just imagine how terrible we all felt. Louise, Larry and the family were so sweet to continue with our planned date of arrival, despite the sadness they had just experienced.

It was on this first show taping that we all learned about the long nights of waiting for each of us to do our walk through of the house. While one psychic walked through, the rest of us were outside. Can you imagine how much of the night sky we experienced all night long waiting for our turn to receive psychic impressions of the house. Then we discovered the only way to stay awake was to constantly eat. A friend of mine suggested we try drinking coca cola and eating dark chocolate in order to stay awake and be alert. We were drinking lots of coffee until we discovered this wake-up tonic worked much better.

THE SKEPTIC

Larry was the skeptic, but you just had to love him… even though he didn’t believe in the ghosts or any of Louise’s or Michael’s encounters. One of the funniest moments for me that was not included in the episode was his reaction to my stomach. As the skeptic he had to measure my stomach before I entered the spirit area and then while I was in it. He measured it to expand almost 5 inches. In response to my stomach he said, “Wow…That’s amazing…amazing.. as he shook his head back and forth. Clearly, the look on his face showed he was completely dumbfounded by my stomach reaction. All I could do was laugh….and tease him a bit more about it and the ghosts in his house.

WHY DIDN’T THE MOTHER AND TEENAGE BOY COME THROUGH IN THE SÉANCE?

There were three spirits in the house but the one that created most of the disturbance was the murderer in the basement. He had a very strong energy field as well as pent-up anger, which made him “take over” the basement area. Someone capable of murder on the physical plane just doesn’t lose that strong emotion of “hate” or “violence” as soon as he enters the spirit world. When a spirit has that much energy, he can block other spirits from coming through until some of his energy is released. After having done thousands of séances over the years, I have discovered that some of the deceased have communicated with personality traits that characterized them when they were still living. These personality traits and some emotions linger for years until the “soul” refines those unproductive personality traits and emotions during it’s growth period on the other side.

When we get to the other side, we all must review what we have done in this life. This includes our deeds, our kindness towards others, our unkind actions as well as what we accomplished for the growth of our soul, emotionally as well as spiritually. The goal each time is to become a more “perfected” soul. Therefore, the murderer blocked the others from coming through, which must have really “ticked off” Louise’s mother. Perhaps, if we had continued the séance longer after the murderer and Michael’s pent-up emotions were released, the others may have then come through.

LOUISE’S MOTHER

Talking to Louise after the water incident, I questioned her about her mother. Apparently, there really was no love between the two of them. Her mother abandoned her at an early age, never wanted Louise and made it known to her in many ways. Her mother would have been considered a “wild woman” today. Her mother was particularly vindictive towards Louise and never showed her any kindness and wanted the center of attention all the time. Fortunately, Louise turned out to be totally opposite of her mother. She is a kind, loving and unbelievably caring person who is also a nurse. Need I say more?

Michael’s relationship with his grandmother was totally different. He was the “favorite” grandchild for her and she treated him differently than she did Louise. Therefore, he had a close relationship with his grandmother. In fact, he was so distraught over her death he could not even shed a tear over it because he was still in a state of shock that she had even died.

THE WATER LEAK THROUGH THE CEILING

You have no idea just how much water poured from the ceiling. And it happened immediately after the séance and just after Michael had told me that he had never cried or really grieved after his grandmother’s death.

I wonder if she was also upset that Michael had not cried over her death. Therefore, she could have misread his reaction and thought that Louise influenced Michael’s opinion of her and that’s why he didn’t cry. Her vindictiveness would then have been exacerbated by her misinterpretation of Michael not crying when she died. His reaction and her resentment of Louise stirred her to the point of her being vindictive. She also had to be pretty annoyed and angry that she could not have her say in the séance. Therefore, she retaliated with a large water leak.

REPAIRMEN

The repairmen found the air conditioning system to have condensation and a break in the pipe, but it did not account for the amount of water that poured from the ceiling. In all honestly I can not blame all that water on just a break in the pipe. I really do feel that some paranormal phenomenon had occurred, especially after learning about another episode of water damage after the show had already finished taping at their house.

NEW WATER LEAK AND DAMAGE TO LINDENMEIER’S HOUSE

About two months after the taping of the show at the Lindenmeier’s house Louise invited me to her house to conduct a regular séance for several of her friends and co-workers. Her mother did not come through the séance. However, I didn’t want her to come through because I thought it was too soon to deal with her mother. It would be a pretty intense and emotional situation for Louise, so I told her that when she was ready we would do it.

Within a week after the séance Louise called and was a bit shaken. “I don’t think the water problem is a coincidence.”, she stated. “Why? Did anything happen after the séance?”
Louise informed me, “ Yes…My brand new outdoor spa broke and all the water from it leaked onto the patio and some other pipes in the basement broke and flooded an area of the basement.” There seems to be a water issue whenever there is a séance in the house. Almost speechless I managed to faintly answer, but with a gulp,”Louise, this is no coincidence.. It has to be your mother.” I am going to have to come back and this time try to banish her from your house!”

FUTURE PLANS

I plan on going to the Lindenmeier’s to go into a trance in the area where Farah and I both experienced her. Through the trance state I will attempt to communicate with her and then ask her to leave the house so that peace can be restored in the home. When I have completed this task, I will let you know about it.

Premiere of DEAD TENANTS

Since the premiere of Dead Tenants, there have been many e-mails from well-wishers as well as inquiries for readings. I have received so much positive feedback ( along with a little wardrobe advice, more on that later). Thank you all so much. I promise that I will answer all e-mail and schedule readings, but please be patient. My annual ghost tours are scheduled for this weekend and next, so this time of year usually gets very hectic and puts me behind in all my correspondence.

DEAD TENANTS (Lost Souls)

What was it like during our three day ghost investigation? First of all, there really wasn't much sleeping. A camera person came in to change the tapes and to make sure all the cameras were focused on us and the home owner while we TRIED to sleep. We had to learn how not to be embarrassed when we were accused of snoring and how to get ready quickly sharing a bathroom with the homeowners and cast. Yes, we really do sleep there the entire weekend. :)

For all of you that wondered why I was wearing such an unflattering sleeveless green floral print outfit in this episode, I will give you the behind the scenes scoop. It was not a top but a night gown worn over purple pants. To my horror the producer of that episode asked me to wear it in order for the cameras to photograph my stomach expanding and contracting as I walked into spirit energy. Why? It was difficult to capture the physical reaction on camera unless it was a loose, thin fabric. In a video produced for another show it was that nightgown that allowed the camera men to clearly capture my bodily reaction on tape. This bizarre physical reaction alerts me to the spirits present in a location, but it was only mentioned on the first episode and not shown in the actual episode.. Therefore, we will be putting the image on my website so viewers who wondered what I meant by my stomach can see the physical reaction on a video clip. I was shown in the spirit areas as already expanded in most of the spirit encounters in the premiere episode so some of you didn't understand what I meant by my stomach "going out" because it was already expanded when you viewed my image. Now, I am a heavy woman but if you or the camera is watching you can clearly see the difference in my stomach when I am reacting to spirit energy and when I am not.

This unusual physical reaction to spirit energy has been happening to me since 1990, when I used my psychic ability on my first scientific ghost investigation. In that investigation my stomach visibly expanded in 8 of the 9 areas the home owners reported having encountered a ghost. Since that first ghost encounter, my stomach reacts to the subtle spirit energy present in a room exactly the same way each time. Once I physically react, then I get into my psychic mode to receive other impressions in order to identify the spirit and why it is there. Some people sense spirit energy by reacting with goose bumps, feeling a chill up their spine or even seeing the hair on their arms or back of the neck stand on end.

Why do I react in such a unique way to spirit? Doctors can not give me a medical reason for this expansion. I can only offer one possible explanation. In order for me to do a reading on a person, I must feel the energy around them and then bring that energy towards my solar plexus or gut area. As I feel them and concentrate, images appear in mind's eye which include scenes, names and other bits and pieces of information that must be interpreted. As a result of the way I perceive, my gut area became highly sensitized to subtle energy fields and therefore reacts in this unusual manner whenever I encounter spirit energy. Over the years there have been close to 10,000 people who have witnessed this physical reaction to spirit duriHalloweenual Holloween ghost tours in New Jersey. Yes, they all must have thought it was strange, but they were all fascinated once they learned it is a real phenomena.

The seance in this episode was fairly short and many of you wished that it explained how the spirits were released. But actually the seance was 2 hrs long and the spirits were released through my body. I get the spirit and trap it within my body and through a breathing technique I am able to get it to look to the light. At the same time I am asking for help from others that are in the light. In essence, I point the spirit in the direction of the light and the other side takes over. That is why I was shaking so much, cause the spirit was going into my body. I believe the seances in other episodes will be longer and explain more about what happens.

During the week, as I read more about your many comments, I will address them here as well as further expand upon the premiere episode. Again, Thank you all so much for your interest and well wishes. Watching the premiere has been such a blast and I know you will enjoy the many episodes to come.

New reality TV series on TLC

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to my first weblog! I am so pleased to announce that I will be co-starring in a brand new reality television series on TLC. You should start seeing promotional segments on TV during next month, as the show will be airing on October 12, 2005 during primetime. The show centers around a team of ghost investigators confronting ghosts that inhabit the houses of several families throughout the tri-state area. The Preternatural Research Society (PRS) is the name of the group that I am a member of that performs these investigations. I offer my psychic ability to determine what spirits inhabit the house and ,while performing a seance, show them the way to the light.

It features about a dozen ghost researchers, sensitives and other professional psychics chasing after ghosts and helping to solve the families problems with them. There are skeptics along for the ride as well trying to cast doubt on what goes on.

The show has been so much fun to participate in and I know that it will be a success. As the 10 episodes air, I will post on my weblog some of the funny and scary stories behind the scenes of each show's production. Stay tuned...
